He's an artist with multiple talents both on and off the microphone, and an individual with a work ethic that is comparable to none. Memphis, Tennessee’s Durt Boi has been hailed by some of the South’s most discerning rap music critics and DJs as an artist whose music will always warrant and deserve a category of its own. He has reigned on the region’s underground hip hop scene for several years completely independently and has amassed a repertoire of music that is both commercially viable and true to its roots. His career reached an all time high in 2019 with the release of the critically acclaimed single “Twerkaholic”. He returned just over a year later with his latest single “Reasons” and announced that he’s preparing to take the show back on the road in the coming months, as the Coronavirus pandemic lockdowns around the world are tentatively eased and clubs, live music venues and concert halls start to open their doors to the public once again. Tennessee, US underground rap star, Durt Boi is nothing like any other rap artist out there today. He has got a distinctive gangsta rap style and sound with a bounce so compelling it will almost literally grab your car keys put you in the driver's seat and take you to the nearest strip club. APPLY PRESSURE

Released just over a month ago, "Apply Pressure" is the latest single by Tennessee, US hip hop artist, Durt Boi. With a series of hard-hitting singles released over the past 12 months, Durt Boi has made it known that 2018 is his year and he is doing all the right things to take his career to the next level. As promised, the official music video for the new song was released on the 24th of July just over a month after the track was released on the 26th of June. The track is available to download free on Soundcloud and free music distribution/promotion platforms.

The first thing fans would have noticed was that the record was only a minute and thirty seconds long. Sadly there was no prior notice of the fact or any explanation for that matter so the official music video will certainly bring a lot of joy to many who have anticipated hearing the rest of what could only be described as a monumental hip hop record that has been needed for much too long now.
